The Lake District and 'limping' home
Leaving Glasgow, the weather improved as we drove south. The oil pressure stayed steady but the brake noise persisted. We stopped off to see Tim Stamper in Penrith http://www.stamper-astonmartin.com where the brake issue was fixed (it was the handbrake after all). Edinburgh v Glasgow
As we left Alnwick, the sun was shining, we had the roof down and drove across the Holy Island causeway and walked to Lindisfarne Castle. We ate a local crab sandwich and some of the sweetest-ever strawberries purchased from locals. Things were looking good! Mechanical problems as we travel to Northumberland (our DB2's first road trip)

The AMOC Spring Weekend 2026
The Aston Martin Owners' Club is a worldwide community.
