We visited this museum in August 2025 as part of our road trip of Northern Italy in MoneyPenny. https://www.paninimotormuseum.it It is a private collection of Maseratis that were owned by a local farmer in the 1990s who then rescued the Maserati Collection of 14 key cars when the company changed hands. The collection has recently been relocated to a new building in a new location so you need to check that you have the correct address before heading there. It's open every day but is closed for lunch between 1.00pm-2.30pm. The location is way out in the middle of farmland so unless you are part of an organised tour or are a very enthusiastic cyclist, you will need a car to get there.
This feels like such a personal museum, with Umberto's grandson selling tickets at the front office and a reasonable entry fee of only 15 Euros. A really nice gesture was that they gave a discount to members of any registered automobile club worldwide (only 10 euros). I think it would be nice if more museums acknowledged the classic car fraternity in this way :)
Our favourite car was the Maserati Ghibli Convertible (see above in pale blue).
As you can see from the photos there is a QR code next to each car which provides an audio commentary in numerous languages. I didn't need to use this much because I was with F who is a one-man QR code with audio-commentary in his own right :) F has a Maserati Mexico and a QP1 in his man-cave in Sydney - both are future restoration projects.
Congratulations to the family and those involved in keeping this collection together and making it accessible to the public. These people deserve our support. Unlike Ferrari down the road there is no fancy merch or restaurant but there is lots of car-love and dedication which should be celebrated! We highly recommend this museum.
